Stephanie 6years old la

It'll be stephanie's birthday on 24th. Mabel, Kitty and I (auntie rashida flew aeroplane again) gave her a surprise birthday celebration last night. We've bought a Hello Kitty (die-cut head shaped) cake for her and a Hello Kitty Gift Set from Sanrio. The gift box includes coloring pencils, pens, books, pencil sharpener, name tag holder etc... She was very exciting and eager to put things into her new pencil case that Mama bought her, preparing for primary 1 in Sep...

I haven't visit Natalie since her baptism months ago. She has grown a lot and big sis Stephanie like kissing her a lot. Baby Natalie is a very sweet baby girl, smile a lot (and mama said she doesn't cry much).

Taipei Trip

went to taipei with KG1A friends last weekend, we've stayed first night at Spring Resorts at Beitou. The next morning, we went to Villa 32. It's very value for money. For TWN$2500, you can enjoy 4-hr hotspring plus an italian set lunch. There are 6 different pools plus a cold one. We've chit chat, going from 1 pool to another.. then relaxing at the lounge area eating complimentary apple / tea. Wanny even went for a quick nap at the sleeping area.

Paulinians Dinner Gathering

We have a dinner gathering at Irori酒處 with Winnie Ho, Pessy Yu, me, Wendy K, Pat, Maria, Phoenix, Wendy S, Vicky and Wanny. You can imagine 10 gals talking at the same time, we were so loud that even though we're already in a private room, people sitting outside could hear us (esp the couple who sit right in front of the room). Great recommendation by Winnie and Pessy. The food were great, eg 胡麻蕃茄沙律, 南瓜沙律, sushi/sashimi platter,池魚, sake and some other yakitori. I heard the ox tongue is also good but I haven't tried myself.

Fortunately with iPhone, we're able to refer to our class photos (via FB) and recall other classmates. I think we've located over 50% of P6B.. Among the 10 of us, 6 of us were classmates since Kindergarten KG1A.. haha..

Lin Chor 3 in Macau

Another Paulinians gathering in Macau. This year we have Grace, Sara, Wanny, Phoenix, Pat and me. Pat is back to HK. She is now doing a meaningful job by teaching in UNESCO office located in Seoul. She teach about the mission of UNESCO to korean students age 11- 13 in simple English.

Let's arrange a trip to visit her before her contract ends in Nov...

One more day to go

I'm off from work tmr.. didn't study any japanese during this x'mas break.. so I've decided to stay home and do some study. A few more lessons to go and the final exam will be held on Feb 1. In the evening, I will be having dinner with P6B Paulinians.. Betty Tang is back from the States..

Hot Pot Gathering at Zoe's

another x'mas gathering, our annual hot pot gathering at Zoe's home. Every year, Zoe will asked us to buy our own ornament and Tess/Meagan will picked the one they like, the lucky person will get a gift from Zoe. This year the color theme is green & gold.

I've found a Snowman Snow Globe in green color (from MoMa), available at Homeless and won one of the price! Also, Tess is learning chinese painting and we can pick one of her work as a gift.. This is the one I've picked. ... very nice..

X'Mas Dinner

My first x'mas gathering dinner with the girls: Mabel, Rashida, Cathryn & stephanie and Kitty at La Pain Grille at IFC.. The venue is very nice with it's French style decoration. I think it would be nice to be there for a lunch or afternoon tea, as they have balcony seats facing the harbour.

Good to catch up as the 4 of us haven't met for a few months : Cathryn talked about her trip to Japan with Christel to watch SMAP concert (I just knew Christel has ALL SMAP CDs until now)... Rashida has brought us x'mas gifts from Agnes b pattiserie... choco with this lovely bear..

Little stephanie refrained from telling us what she'll be performing the following day at school, she kept on saying " big secret, big secret"... cute little girl... we've also learnt that she will be going to Marymount next year starting p1.. (haha, unfortunately no reply from our dear school)

Preparing x'mas gift

A good chance to meet some ex-colleagues/friends from uni: - Vivien has flown all the way from Taiwan - bumped into Renee, one of the sis of Bella, also a Paulinian, also from Uni of Auckland, also from DYR who served Citi, what a small world ... and Stan.. and Betty Mama...

Dad has planned to go out for dinner to celebrate thanksgiving.. (why celebrating thanksgiving? just an excuse to eat outside, or cos he lived in San Francisco for 0ver 10 years and that's why he celebrates thanksgiving and love american football and basketball).

I ended up queuing up at a Sale with my colleauge for an hour and was late for dinner.. Luckily my dad & mom wasn't mad. What's made me a bad person is in order not to be "too late" for dinner (which I'm already 1/2hr late), I picked what I want, and left them with my colleauge, whom has ended up queuing for another hour to pay.

Lunch

6 of us went to lunch at the sushi place in jusco last week... we've crazily ordered a lot of sushi... and the salmon is only $3 each... so we've ordered 12pcs... yummmmm.. someone calculated that each of us ate 10.5pcs.. (not sure where the .5 came from)

x'mas is coming

This year, I am already working on my x'mas gifts, need to spare another weekend to work on them.. Also, as I was lazy in the past few months, my friend's wedding gift is still yet-to-be-completed.... I will finish the gift by this weekend so that I can give to Kitty asap..

visited annie's new home last Sat evening... it's also a kid's night: playing with Jaiden, baby bernice.. Tess and Meagan..Jaiden was so excited when all these Jai Jai arrived, he gave a big hug to Meagan; running around all night, no wonder he is so skinny..
