Taipei Trip
went to taipei with KG1A friends last weekend, we've stayed first night at Spring Resorts at Beitou. The next morning, we went to Villa 32. It's very value for money. For TWN$2500, you can enjoy 4-hr hotspring plus an italian set lunch. There are 6 different pools plus a cold one. We've chit chat, going from 1 pool to another.. then relaxing at the lounge area eating complimentary apple / tea. Wanny even went for a quick nap at the sleeping area.

Jiyugaoka
Tuesday, July 8, 2008
My first visit to Jiyugaoka... nice weather but really hot. I've found the same store that Kae brought me to in Shimokitazawa (Marionette), bought a bag this time.. the store has very nice bed spread, curtains, all kinds of homy stuffs..this is the street which Muji and the Volkswagen van coffee shop is.

It's sunny (and hot) in Toyko these few days. I'm lucky, the weather forecast says it's gonna rain. I went to Jiyugaoka on my first day in Tokyo. It's my first time there and I enjoyed the walk very much. Thanks Motu to give me some hints to which direction to goto and by exploring on the spot, I can find interesting shops / restaurants / pet shops / zakka shops etc. Map to Jiyugaoka: http://www.jiyugaoka.or.jp/access/ekimae-map.html. I picked this place first, cos when I arrived on Wed night and quickly went to Isetan area, there were just sooo many people around which it's even worse than Causeway Bay to me. I need this holiday to relax, not to "fight" with people in a shopping mall. So I decided to goto Jiyugaoka, which I can walk around small streets, with lots of trees, bumping into Japanese tai-tais enjoying tea break with their poodles.

Visited Antwerp during winter, so cold to walk around, but it's the easiest way of exploring the city. Remembered good food, Belgium Chocolate, Dries store..not enough clothes..

barcelona
Antonio Gaudi - great architect of all time.. I've visited Barcelona 10 years ago and still remembered walking along La Rambla, trying my first Sangria, visiting Gaudi's great works:
- Park Guell - http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Park_Guell.html
- Sagrada Familia - http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Sagrada_Familia.html
- Casa Mila - http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Casa_Mila.html
Museum of Miro etc.. and first time to a Museum of Picasso -
http://www.museupicasso.bcn.cat/en/. After few years, I've also visited Picasso Museum in Paris and Tokyo. I realised I like the one in Barcelona the most. From there I learnt about the early work of Picasso, the Blue period.. how he changed to modern Picasso..

we've stayed in a very nice hotel - Hotel De La Paix. http://www.hoteldelapaixangkor.com/location.php.
April is actually the hottest month of the year in Siem Reap. Aside from trip to historical sites, we've also been to massage at Body Tune (http://www.bodytune.co.th/branch_siemreap.html) and
